    Strawberry Sorbet

    List of Ingredients

    1 pound fresh Ripe Strawberries-trimmed of green tops, cut into chunks
    2 tablespoons lemon juice
    1 lemon, zested
    3/4 cup Splenda, or 1 1/4 c. sugar or to taste
    1/2 cup water
    1/8 teaspoon salt

    Recipe

    In a blender or food processor, puree the berries, lemon juice and lemon zest. Set aside.

    In a small saucepot, bring sucralose, water, and salt to a boil. Reduce heat to a simmer and cook for 5 minutes or until slightly thickened. Add syrup to berry mixture.

    Place in ice cream machine and churn according to manufacturer's directions. Yummy!
