My son Bobby got a variation of this recipe from a pretty senorita friend of his, and he re-created the original recipe for my barbecue special. It’s really easy; the kids can assemble them themselves. My website reviewers rate this recipe five stars!
List of Ingredients
1/2 cup almond paste
Four 8-inch flour tortillas
1 cup mini marshmallows
1/2 cup milk chocolate chips
1/3 cup coconut flakes
Canned whipped creamRecipe
Crumble 2 tablespoons of the almond paste evenly over each tortilla. Sprinkle one-fourth of the marshmallows, one-fourth of the chocolate chips, and one-fourth of the coconut on half of each tortilla. Roll up the tortillas, wrap each in heavy-duty aluminum foil, and seal tightly.
Cook in the coals for about 5 to 8 minutes, until the chocolate is melted. Remove the foil and place on a plate. Garnish with whipped cream.
