    I make double the marinade, leave it in the pan while baking, and use it to pour over a side of rice.

    List of Ingredients




    3/4 cup maple syrup
    2 tbsp fresh grated ginger
    2 tbsp wine vinegar
    2 tbsp soy sauce
    pepper & salt to taste
    fresh salmon steaks or filets

    Recipe



    Combine marinade ingredients in pan, put salmon in and cover. Put in the fridge, after 15 min, turn the fish over and leave another 15 min.

    Line a baking pan with waxed paper, place the salmon skin side down, pour marinade over and put in oven.
    Bake at 400* for about 20 min (til it flakes with a fork), turning halfway through baking.
