I haven't tried this, but it does sound yummy! I think I'd add a little parmesan cheese to the sauce or sprinkle it on top before eating. I thought this would be good for a Lenten dinner.
List of Ingredients
3 TBS Butter or Margarine
3 TBS flour
2 cups milk
1 cup light cream
1/2 cup dry white wine
3/4 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. paprika
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/4 tsp. garlic powder
1/2 pound cooked, cleaned shrimp
8 ounces sea-shell macaroni
Recipe
In saucepan, melt butter; blend in flour. Gradually add milk and cream; heat, stirring constantly, until sauce thickens and boils one minute. Stir in wine, salt, paprika, pepper, garlic powder, and shrimp.
Boil shells 6-7 minutes. Drain. Combine with shrimp sauce; mix lightly. Pour into 2 quart casserole. Cover and bake at 375 got 20 - 25 minutes.
Yield 4-6 servings
