2 quart proportions:
(1) 14oz bag light caramels
2 tbsp water
3 quart proportions:
(1½) 14oz. bag light caramels
3 tbsp. water
Recipe
1. In fondue pot, place unwrapped caramels. Add water. Set heat control at SIMMER setting and melt caramels, about 10 minutes. Stir occasionally. Reduce heat to WARM setting.
2. For serving, spear marshmellows, dried fruits, fresh fruit tidbits or vanilla wafers with fondue fork.
Makes 6-8 servings.
HINT: For dipping apples, keep at SIMMER. Place chopped nuts on wax paper. Dip apples in caramel and roll or set on nuts.
