    1 1/2 pounds stew meat, cut into 1 inch cubes

    1 large onion, chopped

    2 cloves garlic, crushed (can use garlic from a jar if you wish)

    1/2 tsp. salt

    1/2 tsp. pepper

    1/2 cup water

    2 Tbs tomato paste (I just used the whole small can because WHAT do you do with a bit of leftover tomato paste???)

    2 Tbs. paprika

    1/2 c light sour cream or plain yogurt

    Recipe



    Spray slow cooker with Pam. Place meat in the cooker, cover with onion and garlic. In a small bowl, mix salt, pepper, water and tomato paste and paprika together. Pour over meat mixture. Mix and cover and cook on LOW 8 - 9 hours. Turn control to HIGH. Stir in sour cream or yogurt and cook uncovered 10 minutes until slightly thickened. Serve over noodles.

    This smells WONDERUL and the meat is so tender you can cut it with a spoon.

    Maggies, this is a great meal to make when you need the extra time and not be in the kitchen. Plus everyone I've given this recipe to said their husbands just went wild over it. Good recipe for beginners who want to show off! LOL
