1 lb. cubed beef
diced potatoes
chopped onion
chopped tomato or 1/2 cup tomato sauce & 1½ cups water
2 - 3 tbsp. salsa or 1 tsp. chili powder
salt and pepper to taste
Recipe
In a pot/dutch oven, brown meat until the gravy appears. Add potatoes and onion add diced tomato, or tomato sauce & water, and seasonings.
Simmer until potatoes are done.
You can serve in bowls as a soup, with warmed tortillas, or drain juice and serve as burritos. The burritos make great "to go" snacks for camping and picnics.
