8 6” tortillas
1 T lime juice
1 T olive or cooking oil
¼ tsp salt
dash pepper
1 (7½ oz) can crab meat, drained, flaked & cartilage removed
2 canned green chili peppers, rinsed, seeded & chopped
1 small avocado
2 C shredded lettuce
1 tomato, chopped & drained
Lime wedges
Bottled hot pepper sauce
Recipe
In heavy skillet heat 1/4 inch of oil. Fry tortillas one at a time, for 20~40 seconds on each side or till crisp and golden. Drain on paper toweling. Keep warm in foil in 250° oven.
Mix lime juice, 1 T oil, salt & pepper. Toss with crab & chili peppers. Divide mix among tortillas.
