1 cup small pasta (melon seeds is good, or stars, any kind)
1 tablespoon oil
1/4 of an onion, diced
1 garlic Clove, minced
2 cups water
1/2 cup diced tomatos, with juice, I use whole peeled canned
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1/4 teaspoon cumin
Recipe
in a sauce pan, add oil and pasta. Brown pasta a light golden brown, just a few minutes. Add onions and garlic to saute, 1-2 minutes until the onions are clear. Add remaining ingredients. Simmer 20 minutes or until water is gone.
Just like mexican rice, but with pasta. Next time follow the same recipe using rice.
