    List of Ingredients




    ¾ C bread crumbs, soaked in ½ C water
    1 ½ # lean ground beef
    1 lrg yellow onion, peeled & chopped fine
    3 T chopped parsley
    1 tsp mint leaves
    1 tsp oregano
    2 cloves garlic, peeled & crushed
    1 T olive oil
    2 eggs
    1 T fresh lemon juice
    salt n freshly ground black pepper to taste
    flour for dredging
    1 C olive oil for frying

    Recipe



    Squeeze the water from the crumbs, and place in a mixing bowl along w/beef. Add other ingredients except for flour & oil. Mix well & form into small oblong meatballs. Dredge in flour & pan-fry in the olive oil til lightly browned & cooked through. DO NOT let them dry out.

    Good hot or cold.
