2 cups pancake mix
1/4 cup cornmeal
1 teaspoon dry mustard
1/8 teaspoon garlic powder
1 1/2 cups water
8 hot dogs
Recipe
Combine dry ingredients, add water and beat about 2 minutes. Have hot dogs at room temperature. Dip in batter, holding with kitchen fork or tongs; let excess batter drain off. Fry in deep hot fat, 375 degrees, for 3 to 4 minutes. Drain on paper towels. Insert skewers if desired.
