16 oz. Ziti Pasta
1 lb. Ground Beef, lean
1 lb. Italian Sausage, sliced
1 medium Onion, chopped
15 oz. Ricotta Cheese
1/2 cup Parmesan Cheese, grated (the fresh, not canned)
1 Egg, slightly beaten
3/4 t. Salt
1/4 t. Pepper
32 oz. Spaghetti Sauce (your favorite jar or homemade)
16 oz. Mozzarella Cheese, shredded
Recipe
Cook ziti al dente.
In large skillet brown ground beef, italian sausage and onion. Remove from heat and drain. Add next 6 items. Mix well. Add ziti, 2/3's of spaghetti sauce and 1/2 of mozzarella cheese. Mix.
Put into a 13 x 9 inch pan and top with reserved sauce and cheese.
Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes or until bubbly.
To freeze: Freeze in foil pans before baking.
To serve: Thaw in fridge. Bake at 350 degrees for 60 minutes or until bubbly.
