1 lb. cooked fettucine
1/2 lb. butter (I use sweet cream salted)
1/2 cup freshly shredded parmesan cheese (not the stuff in the green can)-- can be adjusted to taste

Toss the hot noodles with the butter and cheese.
Place in serving dish(es) -- I usually do individual servings -- and top with fresh ground pepper and additional cheese.
