    Whole Wheat Linguine w/Clam Sauce

    List of Ingredients

    8 oz whole wheat linguine or spaghetti
    1 tsp olive oil
    2 shallots minced
    2 cloves garlic minced
    1 100z can whole baby clams undrained (or seafood of choice, I like crab)
    1 tsp oregano
    1/4 tsp pepper
    1 cup chix broth
    2 T parsley

    Recipe

    Cook and drain pasta returning to pot. Heat oil in large skillet over medium heat. Add shallots and garlic and sauté. add clams with liquid (you could easily do chicken covered in flour first or seafood and add a bit more broth) from can and cook a few mins. Add oregano and pepper and stir to coat. Add chix broth bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer 5 mins or so. Pour sauce over pasta, add parsley and toss. Top with Romano and Parmesan cheese.
