    Honey Wheat Pizza Crust

    List of Ingredients




    1 ¼ cups water (110º or 115º)
    1 tbsp sugar
    1 tbsp honey
    2 ¼ tsp active dry yeast
    2 ¼ cups flour
    1 cup whole wheat flour
    ¼ tsp salt

    Recipe



    In a small bowl, combine water, sugar, and honey; mix until honey and sugar are dissolved. Sprinkle yeast into bowl; stir to mix and let stand 5 minutes. In a large bowl, combine flour, whole wheat flour, and salt. Add yeast mixture to bowl and mix until soft dough forms. Place dough onto a lightly floured surface and knead 5-10 minutes, adding more flour as needed. Lightly spray a large bowl with non-fat cooking spray. Roll dough into a ball and place in bowl; cover with towel or plastic wrap and let rise in warm place until doubled in size. Preheat oven to 450º. Lightly spray a 14? pizza pan or baking sheet with non-fat cooking spray. Turn dough onto floured surface; punch down and knead lightly. Press dough into prepared pan.
