1 pound bulk Italian sausage
1 TBLS minced garlic(I used 2 cloves)
8 oz uncooked thin spaghetti, broken in 2 inch lengths
1 jar (26oz) spaghetti sauce
1 1/2 cups water
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1/2 c diced green pepper
1 1/3 cup French's Original or cheddar French Fried onions (I used the whole large can)
Recipe
Saute sausage and garlic until brown (I took the sausage out of the casing). Drain. Stir in uncooked spaghetti, water and the sauce. Bring to a boil; reduce heat to med low. Cover and simmer 15 minutes or until spaghetti is tender, stirring occasionally.
Top spaghetti mixture with cheese, peppers and french fried onions; remove from heat. Cover and let stand 3 minutes or until cheese melts.
I cooked the peppers a little before then added the sausage and garlic as Tom doesn't like crunchy peppers.
