    Because of the red food coloring, this is also called Red Cooked Pork. You can omit the food coloring but it makes a prettier dish if you use it.

    List of Ingredients




    2 pork tenderloins (abt. 1 lb)
    1 tsp cinnamon
    1/4 cup soy sauce
    2 tsp red food coloring
    2 TBSP cooking wine (rice wine or dry sherry)
    1 garlic clove crushed
    1 TBSP brown sugar
    1 green onion, cut in half
    1 TBSP honey




    Recipe



    Remove any fat from pork. Combine all other ingredients in a large bowl; add pork to marinate.

    Cover and let stand one hour or refrigerate overnight, turning occasionally.

    Drain pork; retain marinade. Bake on a rack at 350* for 45 minutes to one hour. Turn and baste with marinade frequently.

    Cut into slices on the diagonal to serve. Or stirfry into some Pork Fried Rice
