Chicken Baked Pork Chops

6 large pork chops
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. black pepper
1 tbsp. bacon drippings
1 cup converted rice
1 can cream of chicken soup
1 cup milkRecipe
Season chops with salt and pepper; brown in skillet. Place in deep baking dish in mostly a single layer. You can overlap the bone end if needed. Cover with rice. Mix the soup, milk and bacon drippings together and pour over the rice, being careful to cover it completely - add more milk if needed. Cover tightly with foil. Bake at 350° for 1 hour. If using thick chops, and 15 minutes to cooking time.
Slices of pork tenderloin work well also.
