    Country Ribs & Sauerkraut

    List of Ingredients

    2 - 3 lbs. Country style spare ribs
    4 - 5 cups sauerkraut, drained well
    1/4 cup brown sugar
    1 can condensed French onion soup

    Recipe

    Place raw ribs in baking dish and spread sauerkraut over. Sprinkle with brown sugar and pour soup over.Cover and bake at 350° for 2½ or 3 hours, or until meat is very tender & falling apart; remove cover & bake for another half hour.

    Reconstituted onion soup mix may be used instead of canned condensed, using about 1¼ cups of water per envelope, but it isn't quite as yummy.
