8 thin pork chops
1 pkg (10oz,) frozen cut okra
1 green pepper, sliced
1 can (15 oz.) Sloppy Joe sauce
1/2 t. red pepper sauce
Recipe
In large skillet, brown pork chops.
Thaw okra under hot running water; drain.
Remove chops. To drippings add green pepper and okra.
Cook 3 to 4 min.
Stir in Sloppy Joe sauce and red pepper sauce.
Return chops to sauce and simmer, covered, 20 min.
Serve with Confetti Rice:
1 med onion, chopped
4 slices bacon, diced
3/4 c. long grain rice
1 1/2 c. chicken broth
Dash red pepper sauce
2 t. chopped parsley
In med. skillet, cook onion and bacon over med. heat until bacon is crisp. Add rice, broth and red pepper sauce. Heat to boiling, reduce heat. Cover and simmer 20 min. Stir in parsley.
