1 (21-ounce) can peach fruit filling
1/2 cup dry mustard
1 (8- to 10-pound) smoked ham
3/4 cup firmly packed brown sugar
1 (21-ounce) can cherry fruit filling
3 tablespoons white vinegar
3 tablespoons chopped crystallized ginger
1/2 cup chopped dates or unchopped raisins
1/2 teaspoon apple pie spice
Recipe
Pour peach filling through a wire-mesh strainer into a small bowl, reserving peaches and sauce. Chop peaches, and set aside. Stir mustard into sauce.
Remove and discard skin and excess fat from ham; place ham on a rack in a roasting pan. Brush mustard mixture over ham; pat brown sugar over mustard mixture.
Bake at 325º on lower oven rack 2 hours or until a meat thermometer inserted into thickest portion registers 140º.
Cook chopped peaches and cherry filling in a saucepan over low heat 5 minutes. Stir in vinegar and next 3 ingredients; cool.
