    Asparagus Chicken

    List of Ingredients

    6 boneless chicken breasts
    1/4 cup vegetable oil
    4 tsp. butter or margarine
    1/4 cup flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1½ cups chicken broth
    1/2 cup canned milk
    1/2 tsp. tabasco sauce
    1 pound asparagus, diced
    1/2 to 3/4 cup fresh grated parmesan

    Recipe

    Brown the chicken in oil & butter, remove from skillet. Add flour and salt to drippings, blending until smooth; cook for 2-3 minutes over medium heat. Stir in chicken broth and cook until thick. Remove from heat; add milk and tabasco. Place asparagus in the bottom of a 9x13" casserole. Arrange the chicken on top of the asparagus. Pour sauce over the chicken and asparagus. Sprinkle with cheese. Bake at 350° for 45 minutes.
