Recipe Introduction
Mind you, this isn't for the low fat crowd, lol!
List of Ingredients
6 cups Crisco cooking oil
1 egg, beaten
2 cups milk
2 cups all purpose flour
4 T salt
2 t black pepper
1 t MSG (such as Accent- if you don't want to use MSG you can add another 1/2 T salt, but the book says MSG will yield a closer clone, and it is what we used when we made it here)
2 frying chickens with skin, cut up Recipe
Pour the oil into a pressure cooker and heat over medium heat to 400 degrees. In a small bowl, combine egg and milk. In a separate bowl, combine the four dry ingredients. Dip each piece of chicken into the milk until fully moistened. Roll the chicken in the flour mixture until completely coated. In groups of four or five, drop the covered chicken pieces in the oil and lock the lid in place. When steam begins to shoot through the pressure release, set the timer for 10 minutes. After ten minutes, release the pressure according to manufacturer's instructions and remove the chicken pieces to paper towels or a metal rack to drain. Repeat with remaining chicken.
