    Seafood Pasta

    Source of Recipe

    Lissa~(ladyshalee)

    Recipe Introduction

We have done this with chicken, turkey and even pork chops (cut into small pieces) They have all been great! I often add a splash or two of white wine into the sauce or in place of the olive oil. Occasionally I can get DH to eat small summer squash that has been cut and sautéed, then added to the sauce. We also use tortellini occasionally too, in place of the angel hair.

    List of Ingredients

    1 Pkg Frozen Calamari/Seafood Mix (1 Pound)
1 Pkg Knorr Pasta Sauce, The Garlic And Herb Seasoning
    1 Clove Crushed Garlic
1 Tbsp Dried Onion (Reconstituted & Drained)
4 Oz Fresh Mushrooms, Sliced-Or More if desired
    1 1/2 Tbsp Olive Oil
    A Sprinkle Of Garlic Powder-opt
A dash Fresh Cracked Black Pepper
    A dash Italian Seasoning
    Fresh Broccoli
    Fresh Baby Carrots
    Angel Hair Pasta

    Recipe

In a small pan, prepare the sauce mix as directed. Heat till finished, and add Italian seasoning to taste. Add garlic powder for a more intense flavor if you like. While you are doing this, steam broccoli and baby carrots together till almost tender. Set sauce aside, but over low heat to keep warm.

Take the package of frozen calamari mix and saute it in a large pan with olive oil, garlic clove, mushrooms, and onion till the scallops are cooked all the way through, and shrimp is pink. Be careful not to overcook. Strain the seafood so the oil is gone. Add to the sauce mix and heat. Add vegetables to the seafood mix and set aside again, keeping low heat and stirring occasionally. Add fresh cracked black pepper to taste if needed.

Cook pasta till done, and drain. Serve seafood/veggie sauce over noodles and eat! We usually have Italian herbed biscuits or bread with it, and a salad.
Serves about 3 or 4 usually.
