List of Ingredients
3 Large Tomatoes -- Seeded And Chopped
1 Med Cucumber -- Chopped Fine
1/2 Lg White Onion -- Chopped Fine
1 C Loosely Packed Fresh Basil
1/4 C Olive Oil
1 Tbsp Cider Vinegar
1 Clove Minced Garlic
1/2 Tsp Salt
1/4 Tsp Black Pepper
1 Lg Loaf French Bread -- Thick Sliced
Recipe
In a large bowl combine tomatoes cucumber and onion. In a small bowl combine basil, oil, vinegar, garlic, salt and pepper. Pour over tomatoes and toss. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour. Before serving, allow salad to come to room temperature.
Toast bread under broiler until lightly browned. Top with salad and serve immediately.
