    Beef Gravy - Hamburger Gravy

    List of Ingredients

    4 tbsp. butter
    1/4 cup flour
    2 beef bouillon cubes, or 2 tsp. bouillon granules
    2 cups cold water
    2 splashes worcestershire sauce or to taste
    black pepper to taste


    See note for hamburger gravy.

    Recipe

    Melt butter in saucepan; add flour and bouillon cubes; blend until smooth. Cook 1 - 2 minutes until bubbly. Add water and seasonings; cook and stir until mixture thickens; reduce heat and simmer a couple minutes more.

    Note: If making hamburger gravy, brown the hamburger in skillet; add butter & flour, substitute milk for water if desired, and continue as recipe directs.
