Cinnamon Sauce

List of Ingredients
1 Cup packed dark brown sugar
2 Teaspoons cornstarch
1 Teaspoon ground cinnamon
2 Tablespoons butter -- or margarine
2 Teaspoons vanilla extract
Recipe
1. In a sauce pan, combine brown sugar, cornstarch and cinnamon. Gradually blend in 2 cups BOILING water. Cook, stirring constantly, until slightly thickened.
2. Remove from heat and stir in butter and vanilla.
Yield: 2-1/2 cups of sauce, Serving Size : 6
Serving Ideas : Serve this sauce over a plain coffeecake.
