    List of Ingredients




    2 tbsp. extra-virgin olive oil
    1/4 cup minced onion
    1/4 cup minced green bell pepper
    2 garlic cloves, minced
    1 (10 3/4 oz.) can tomato puree
    1 cup apple cider vinegar
    1 cup honey
    1/4 cup blackstrap molasses
    2 tbsp. yellow mustard
    1 1/4 tsp. red pepper flakes
    1 tsp. chili powder

    Recipe



    In a medium saucepan, heat the oil over medium-high heat, and add the onion, bell pepper, and garlic. Saute' for about ten minutes, or until tender. Add the tomato puree, apple cider vinegar, honey, molasses, mustard, red pepper flakes, and chili powder. Reduce the heat to low, and simmer for thirty to forty minutes or until the sauce has thickened.
