6 Tbsp Brown Sugar
6 Tbsp White Sugar
1 Egg
1/2 Tsp Vanilla
1 1/4 C All-Purpose Flour -- Sifted
1 Tsp Baking Powder
1/4 Tsp Baking Soda
1 3/8 Tsp Salt
1 C Chopped Pecans


Recipe

Heat oven to 375.

Cream butter and sugars till light. Beat in egg and vanilla. Sift together dry ingredients; blend into creamed mixture. Stir in nuts. Drop from teaspoon on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 375 about 10 minutes. Cool cookies before removing from pan. Makes 2 1/2 dozen
