    Souper Nachos

    List of Ingredients

    1/2 pound ground beef
    2 envelopes Lipton Tomato Cup-a-Soup instant soup
    1/2 cup water
    1 teaspoon red wine vinegar
    1/2 to 1 teaspoon chili powder
    Tortilla chips ( about 30)
    1/4 cup chopped green onions (optional)
    1 cup shredded Monterey Jack or Cheddar Cheese

    Recipe

    In small microwavable safe bowl microwave ground beef at High 2 minutes or until no longer pink. Drain. Stir in instant tomato soup mix , water, vinegar, and chili powder. Microwave at HIGH 1and1/2 minutes or until thickened stirring once. Arrange half of the tortilla chips in one layer on microwavable safe plate, then top with half of the beef mixture, onions, and cheese. Repeat layer. Microwave at High 1 and 1/2 minutes or until cheese is melted.

    CONVENTIONAL DIRECTIONS:
    Preheat oven to 275 degrees. In small skillet, brown beef; Drain. Stir in instant soup mix, water, vinegar, and chili powder. Cook stirring frequently 1 minute or until mixture thickens.

    Arrange as above on oven proof plate or baking dish. Bake 10 minutes or until cheese is melted.
