Beef Barley Boiled Dinner

Scramble 1 pound of burger and drain. In the same Dutch oven, combine 2 quarts beef broth, 1 c. rice, 1/2 c. medium pearl barley, 1 med. onion chopped, 2 bay leaves, 1/2 tsp. Basil, salt and pepper to taste; bring to a boil. Cover and simmer for 30-45 mins. Add carrots cut into 1 inch pieces, 2 1/2 c. frozen cut green beans and 2 celery ribs cut into 1 inch pieces. Cover and simmer another 30 mins or until grains are tender. Remove bay leaves before serving.
