2 c cabbage, thinly sliced
1 c carrots, thinly sliced
2 Tbsp. butter or olive oil (I just use veg oil)
2 c water
1/2-3/4 lb Kielbasa, sliced 1/2
1 tsp. caraway seeds
sliced almonds for garnish
4 oz pkg. of Liptons Sour cream and Chive noodles and sauce (if you know how to make your own sour cream and chive sauce go for it!)
Recipe
In heavy skillet, saute cabbage and carrots in butter until tender (put the carrots in first, they take longer). Add water, bring to a boil, add noodles and sauce and Kielbasa (I add extra egg noodles). Cook to directions on the package or bring to boil, turn down, stir occasionally to avoid sticking. It's done when the noodles are ready. Remove from heat and add caraway seed and sliced almonds.
