Clarke's French Onion Soup

List of Ingredients
1 yellow onion, diced, sliced, cut up however you like
6 tbsp. butter
1 tsp Kosher salt
1 1/2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
1/2 tsp fresh finely ground pepper
1 can beef broth
1 can chicken broth
2 Tbsp of sherry
Cheese croutons:
Sourdough bread as needed
Provolone cheese as neededRecipe
Combine onion, butter and salt in skillet, saute over medium heat until caramelized, about 20-25 minutes. Add remaining ingredients and bring to boiling; reduce heat and simmer until time to serve.
Cheese Croutons:
Place bread slices on foil-lined baking pan which has been sprayed with butter-flavored cooking spray. Top with provolone cheese and bake until cheese melts. Then broil briefly until cheese is lightly browned. Cool and cut into small squares. Serve along with soup or add directly to soup.
