1 can ( 7 3/4 oz.) salmon
1 clove garlic, minced
1/2 c. ch. onion
1/2 c. ch. celery
1/2 c. ch. gr. pepper
3 T. bacon fat or butter
1 c. diced potatoes
1c. diced carrots
2 c. chicken broth
1 t. salt
1/2 t. pepper
1/2 t. thyme
1/2 c. frozen peas
1 (8 3/4 oz.) cream style corn
1 (13 oz.) can evaporated milk
Minced parsley
Recipe
Drain and flake salmon--reserving liquid.
Saute garlic, onion, celery and gr. pepper in fat.
Add potatoes,carrots and reserved salmon liquid, chicken broth and seasonings. Cover and simmer 20 min. Add peas and cook 5 min. Add salmon, corn and evap. milk. Heat through. Sprinkle with parsley.
