Meatball Stew

List of Ingredients
1/4 cup milk
1 slice stale bread
1 egg
1/2# ground beef
1 tbsp. chopped onion
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
flour & oil as needed
2 carrots, cut in chunks
3 - 4 potatoes, cut in chunks
1/2 tsp. worcestershire sauce
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
tomato or v/8 juice as needed, diluted with beef broth if desired
Recipe
Combine first seven ingredients & form into meatballs. Roll balls in flour & brown oil, turning to brown all sides evenly.
Add remaining ingredients to meatballs & bring to boiling. Reduce heat & simmer until vegetables are tender.
