Oyster Stew

(for lower carb version, replace half & half with 1 cup heavy cream & 1 cup water)
List of Ingredients
2 cans oysters, bits & pieces
1½ tbsp. flour
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. tabasco sauce
1/4 cup butter
2 cups half & half
Recipe
Combine flour, salt and tabasco with liquid from oysters, blending until smooth. Add oysters and butter, place over medium heat and cook, stirring constantly, until thickened. Scald the half & half, then add it to oysters and hold at serving temperature. DO NOT ALLOW TO BOIL.
