    Salmon Chowder

    List of Ingredients

    4 med. Potatoes
    2 T. Butter
    1 3/4 c. Water
    1 T. Flour
    2 c. Milk
    15 oz. Salmon, drained skinned, boned
    1/2 t. Salt
    10 oz. Peas and Carrots
    1 t. Worcestershire Sauce
    1 sm. Onion, chopped
    2 t. Lemon

    Recipe

    1) Combine potatoes, water, 1/2 c. milk and salt in large saucepan. Bring to boiling. Lower heat and simmer, uncovered until potatoes are tender, about 8 minutes. Add mixed vegetables; cover and remove from heat.

    2) Saute onion in butter in medium sized saucepan until softened, about 2 minutes. Stir in flour; cook 1 minute, stirring. Add remaining milk; cook, stirring until smooth and thickened, about 5 minutes. Add to potato mixture. Bring to boil, lower heat. Add salmon, worcestershire sauce and lemon. Stir until heated through.

    Serves 4
