2 cans tuna (recipe says 7 oz. but I don't think it's that size now)
2 tbsp. inst. minced onion
2 c. diced peeled potatoes
1 can cream style corn
3 c. milk
1 tsp. salt (recipe says 2, but I don't use that much)
2 tbsp. parsley flakes
1/2 tsp. hot pepper sauce
Recipe
Drain 2 tbsp. oil from tuna and saute onion in oil, stirring for a few min. Add 1 c. water and the potatoes, cover and cook 10 min over low heat. Add tuna and remaining ingredients and heat thoroughly--about 10 min.
6 generous servings.
Note: This is a very old recipe, and as a rule, I use tuna in water, but think this type gives it more flavor. Also, I don't think it's necessary to saute instant onion, but I use fresh minced onion and saute it. Otherwise, just put the instant onion in with potatoes and water.
