Turkey and Black Bean Chili

2 tsp olive oil
1 onion, chopped
1 green bell pepper, chopped
4 garlic cloves, minced
3/4 pounds ground turkey
1 15 ounce can black beans, rinsed
1 14 1/2 oz can diced tomatoes
1 tablespoon chili powder
2 tsp ground cumin
1 tsp oregano
salt and pepperRecipe
Heat oil in pan and add onion, garlic and bell papper; cook until softened, stirring occasionally, about 5 min.Add the turkey and cook, breaking up with a spoon, until no longer pink. Stir in the beans, tomatoes, chili powder, cumin, oregano, and salt and pepper; bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer, covered, about 30 minutes.
I added lots more seasoning (chili powder, cumin, salt and pepper, plus I added cayenne- these add no points.)
If desired, serve with shredded fat-free cheese, fat free sour cream, and diced green onions- but I would go for the real stuff and use less.
One cup, calculated with 2 tablespoons fat free cheese and 1 tablespoon ff sour cream, is 4 points.
