WW Lentil Chili

1 lg. onion chopped
1 lb. lean ground turkey
1 lb. dry lentils
29 oz. can crushed tomatoes
2 cups salsa
10 cups water
1 tsp. cumin
1 tsp. chili powder
2 tsp. salt
2 oz. grated cheddar cheese (topping)Recipe
Chop onion and brown with ground turkey. Cover and cook until no longer pink. Drain. Add lentils and water. Reduce heat to low and simmer 1½ hours. Add tomatoes, salsa, cumin, chili powder and salt. Simmer 15-20 minutes.
Garnish with cheese.
1½ cups = 3½ points. 12 servings
