2 cups hot mashed potatoes
3/4 cup flour
Recipe
Using potatoes mashed with butter, salt and even sour cream & cream cheese, proceed to knead in flour until a nice soft dough is formed. Refrigerate overnight. Roll out to 1/2" thick; cut as for biscuits; fry in butter or oil until golden, about 3-4 minutes on each side. Serve hot as is, or with maple syrup.
