    List of Ingredients

    Dough:
    2 1/2 C flour
    1/2 teas. salt
    1 egg
    2 teas. oil
    3/4 C warm water

    Filling:
    1 TBSP grated onion
    2 TBSP butter
    2 C mashed potatoes
    1 C cottage cheese

    Recipe

    Dough:
    Mix flour with salt, add egg, oil and water to make a medium soft dough. Kneed on a floured board until dough is smooth. Divide the dough into 2 parts. Cover and let stand for at least 10mins.

    Filling:
    Cook onions in butter until tender. Combine with potatoes and cheese.

    Roll the dough quite thin on a floured board, cut out circles. Place spoonful of filling in it, fold over to form half circle. and press edges together with fingers.

    Cooking: Drop a few into a large quantity of boiling water. Boil 3-4 mins. Pour melted butter over them and onion/or bacon.
