Ginger's Pickling Spice

List of Ingredients
2 1/2 Tbsp Mustard seed
1 Tbsp Whole Allspice
1 Tbsp Coriander seeds
2 Whole Cloves
1 Tsp Ground Ginger
1 Tsp Red Pepper Flakes
1 Bay Leaf -- Crumbled
1 2 Inch Piece Cinnamon -- Broken Up
Recipe
Combine all ingredients and store in an airtight jar or container. Use in favorite pickle recipes. Yield: about 1/2 Cup
NOTES : I like to break the cloves in a couple of pieces also, to distribute the flavor more evenly. Can break them in a papertowel, using a small hammer. But don't use ground cloves.
