1 Bunch Asparagus, Ends Trimmed
Salt
1/2 Pound Hazelnuts, Roasted And Chopped
1/2 Pound Maytag Blue Cheese, Crumbled
For The Vinaigrette:
1/4 Cup White Wine Vinegar
1/2 Bunch Basil, Finely Chopped
3/4 Cup Extra-Virgin Olive Oil
Salt And Pepper
Recipe
• In a large flat skillet, place an inch of salted water and heat to the boiling point. Add the asparagus and cook for two minutes. Toss with the hazelnuts and cheese and set aside.
• To prepare the vinaigrette, place the white wine vinegar and basil in a jar. Whisk in the olive oil and season with salt and pepper. Serve over the asparagus.
