1/4 c sugar
1 T cornstarch
1/2 t salt
1/2 c orange juice
1 T butter
1 t grated orange peel
3 cups cooked sliced beets (or 2 16-oz. cans sliced
beets, drained)
Recipe
In 1-qt saucepan, combine sugar, cornstarch, and salt; slowly stir in orange juice; add butter and grated orange peel; over medium heat, cook until thickened, stirring constantly.
Reduce heat to low; add beets and cook just until heated through, stirring occasionally.
