3 C Red Onions -- Sliced
1/4 C Water
1/4 C Light Brown Sugar
1/4 C Golden Seedless Raisins
1/2 C Apple Juice -- Or Dry White Wine
1/3 C White Wine Vinegar -- Or White Vinegar
1 Tsp Ground Sage
1 Tsp Oil
1/2 Tsp Salt
1/4 Tsp Black Pepper
1/8 Tsp Red Pepper

Cover and cook onions and water in a 2 qt. saucepan over medium heat for 5 minutes. Stir in remaining ingredients; reduce heat to medium low. Cover and cook about 50 minutes, stirring occasionally, until thickened.
