Firehouse Hot Chili Powder

6 Tbsp Paprika
2 Tbsp Turmeric
1 Tbsp Dried Chili Peppers
1/2 Tsp Cumin
1 Tsp Oregano
1/2 Tsp Cayenne
1/2 Tsp Garlic Powder
1/2 Tsp Salt
1/4 Tsp Ground Cloves
Recipe
Mix all ingredients and grind to a fine powder using a mortar and pestle, or food processor or blender. Spice will keep 6 months on the pantry shelf.
This powder is somewhat more pungent and fresher tasting than a packaged brand, so use a bit less.
