3 large onions, sliced 1/4 inch thick
salad oil
1/2 cup milk
1 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon salt

Separate onion slices into rings. In electric skillet, heat 3/4 inch salad oil to 370 degrees. Place milk in small dish. Stir flour and salt together in another small dish. Dip rings in milk, then in flour mixture. Repeat to coat twice. Cook onions 3 minutes in hot oil or until lightly browned. Drain on paper towels and serve immediately.
Makes 6 - 8 servings.
