    2 Lbs Green Beans -- Trimmed
    4 Oz Bacon -- Cooked And Crumbled
    1 Tbsp Olive Oil
    1/2 Tsp Salt
    1/4 C Pine Nuts -- Toasted

    Recipe



    In a 12-inch skillet, at least 2 inches deep, boil at least one inch of water and place green beans in skillet. Reduce heat to low and simmer 5 or 10 minutes until beans are tender-crisp. Drain. Wipe skillet dry and cook bacon until crisp. Drain well. In same skillet over medium high heat, add olive oil, leaving a little bit of bacon dripping for taste; cook beans with salt, stirring often until beans are lightly browned in spots. Spoon onto a warm platter; sprinkle with bacon and pine nuts.
