Sweet Carrot Casserole

1 pound carrots
1 cup water
6 tablespoons butter or margarine, melted
2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
½ cup sugar
3 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla
Recipe
Peel and chunk carrots. Add water and cook until tender; drain. Mash carrots with a potato masher. Stir in melted butter. Blend in remaining ingredients. Pour into greased or buttered 9-by-9-inch baking dish. Bake in 350-degree oven 45 minutes.
